BES Weekly Update
Sunday, September 17, 2023
Greetings from Ms. Gerdes
This week we hosted our first PTA Meeting. I encourage you to join our PTA and attend meetings when possible. We are fortunate to have a strong campus community with a committed partnership between families and staff which is reflected in our PTA. Our ultimate goal is to best provide for our students. If you are interested in joining PTA and/or getting involved, please scroll down for links to get connected. Our PTA President, Katie Foust, presented some exciting upcoming projects for our campus. In addition, Katie shared that Bransford earned a 'School of Excellence' award which is a fantastic accomplishment! I am so proud to be a part of such an incredible campus community.
On Friday, our primary grades celebrated Dot Day. 20 years ago author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds began Dot Day. The purpose is to encourage us all to make our mark on the world and respect everyone's strengths. Mrs. Allen and I read to classes to celebrate and observed many students participating in dot-themed activities. What a great day!
Remember tomorrow, Monday, September 18th is a Student Holiday. All Staff will be participating in Professional Learning for the day. We look forward to seeing our Texans on Tuesday!
Enjoy your week!

Ms. Gerdes
