What's New This Week....
Register for the #IrmoStrong5k by 2/21 for Early Pricing
Registration for the #IrmoStrong5k -- to benefit ay school in the Irmo Cluster -- is $21 through February 21. Regular registration fee is $35.
And the t-shirts are AWESOME.
Click here to register today! https://runsignup.com/Race/SC/Columbia/IrmoStrong5k
So what is a Virtual 5k? Just like a live race.... you will still pick up a race packet with t-shirt, race bib/number, and goodies from our sponsors. We can still have a great time in our community, highlight the unity within our Irmo cluster and show everyone around what it means to be #Irmostrong by coming together for this event.
Instead of us all gathering at one place at a specific time, we can instead run anywhere in the community! From April 1- 17, 2022 you run or walk anywhere you would like. When you're finished simply log the time into the results section of this page. Make it fun and be safe! Wear your @IrmoStrong5k shirt, put on your race number and share some pictures. We want to show off the beautiful resources we have in our own backyard.
Please consider partnering with us as a sponsor or race participant in this #irmostrong Community endeavor. The Irmo Schools Cluster is the heartbeat of our community, nurturing Irmo’s future leaders, while Irmo businesses are the life blood that keeps our community alive and well. Together we are stronger and better.
All funds raised go to projects at our Irmo Cluster schools. In past years we have provided yard signs for our IHS free of charge to families, paid for hot breakfast for staff, bought snacks for students, etc. All activities are focused on encouragement and support.

Celebrating our SHINING STINGERS!!
Student- Tyres Briggs
Teacher- Sara Petruzzi
"Tyrese is the perfect student. He is engaged in class, friendly to others, and has an incredible work ethic. He sets SUCH a great example for the other students in our classes. It's been a real joy to see how the other students are taking his lead and engaging in class. He is fairly new to Irmo but I couldn't be prouder of a student."
Student- F.S.

"[This student] is a responsible, respectful and reputable senior! S/he has grown so much in her ability to accept challenges and make the best of them.
