What is Blended Learning?
Transforming the Classroom
Come discover how to get started with Blended Learning
The big idea behind blended learning is combining the strength of traditional instruction and online learning with teachers in which students can, in part, control the time, pace and place of their learning. Blended Learning can actually personalize learning for every student's individual needs to meet them where they are when they need it.
Implement ways to Alter the Learning Environment through Blended Learning
To truly blend learning, teachers need to weave together the classroom and virtual educational media by integrating technology into their curriculum, differentiate instruction and create more opportunities for conversation and collaboration. We will explore concrete strategies to create a blended learning model that capitalizes on your students' connectivity at home, maximizes their mobile technology in the classroom and weaves it all together with student-centered learning opportunities.
The world our students live in today is surrounded by technology. Having kids become comfortable and familiar with technology now is going to better prepare them for their future. We are doing students and ourselves a great disservice to assume all students learn in the same way. So we need something that will enhance teaching and learning where students are directing their own learning.
