Identifying Characateristics
-Width-height ratio is about 0.74-0.82 on average.
-Has an operculum (trap door) on shell.
-The inner shell is most commonly white and blue.
-The shell has 6-7 whorls.
-They exhibit light coloration as a juvenile and olive green, greenish brown, reddish brown, or brown pigmentation as an adult.
-They can have up to 7 small cusps on the marginal tooth and a large central cusp with four small cusps on either side.

SUSPECTED HIDEOUTS:
*The Chinese Mystery Snail prefers to mainly seek shelter near the shores of lakes, ponds/rivers, underwater half buried in sediment, or in irrigation/ roadside ditches. Thriving in temperatures ranging from 34-80 degrees F.*
WANTED FOR:
-Upsetting food chains by competing and stealing food and space from native populations
-Reproduce very quickly
-Form very dense populations

-Brings harmful diseases via parasites that can be passed to humans
-Clogs up screen water intake pipes

-Upsetting fish
