Happy Friday. Things have been going pretty well at Fairfield Elementary. Our students are working hard at being good students and being good ROAR models. Please continue to encourage your students to do their best every day. It is amazing to see your students grow as the year goes on. Next week is the great Kindness Challenge so we will be focusing on acts of kindness and supporting each other.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Update
Fairfield Elementary is super excited to let you know we are working toward becoming a No Place For Hate School. To do this students and staff will make five promises 1. I promise to do my best to treat everyone fairly. 2. I promise to do my best to be kind to everyone- even if they are not like me. 3. If I see someone being hurt or bullied I will tell a teacher. 4. Everyone should be able to feel safe and happy in school. 5. I want our school to be No Place for Hate. Be on the lookout for more information!

PTO Update
Fairfield's Snack Stash
Are your kids enjoying the new "snack time" at Fairfield? The Fairfield PTO would like to help our teachers by providing each classroom with a box of "emergency snacks." The school is not providing snacks regularly. But as parents, we've all been there when our kids are having one of those "hangry" days when a missing snack can throw off their behavior. Let's help our teachers with a backup supply of "emergency snacks" for when a hungry kiddo really needs one.
Sign up for items using this link or choose your own items to donate. Please remember that items need to be prepackaged (not homemade), not sugary sweets, and contain NO nuts. Send in your donation (marked "Snack Stash") with your child or drop them off to the school's office. THANK YOU!
