Evacuation Drill to Lenape Middle School

As a reminder, please see the email communication previously sent regarding our evacuation drill to Lenape on 11/1/22. We will monitor the weather and make a final decision in the morning.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Central Bucks School District is committed to providing the safest possible environment for its students and staff. In order to maintain a safe learning environment, we constantly work with state and local police to learn and implement best practices in school safety and security.

Each month we conduct fire drills and throughout the year we practice other emergency drills. All drills begin with an announcement to the students and staff to ensure that they know that the situation is a drill and not an emergency. During all drills, staff will discuss safety practices with students, such as actively listening to adults during drills and decision making. Most importantly teachers and staff will remind students about listening and direction following during all drill/emergency situations.

On the morning of Tuesday, November 1st, we will be conducting our evacuation drill where all staff and students will practice our evacuation procedures to Lenape Middle School. Local police department has been notified of our drill and may be on site, as well to assist. Upon completion of the drill, our students and staff will return to Doyle.

Please contact me if you have any questions about our security drills and procedures.

Support Staff Wanted

Dear Central Bucks families,

This email contains a very important appeal. As we all know, our schools depend on support staff to run smoothly and effectively! The district currently has several open support jobs including teacher’s assistants (EAs), personal care aides, bus drivers and aides, positions in before and after care, food service, lunch and recess aides, and more.

Central Bucks’ supportive and engaged families are among our most valued resources. For that reason, we hope you might consider applying for a role that interests you, or assist us by sharing them with friends, colleagues, and neighbors. These positions offer competitive pay, excellent hours, and great benefits for those eligible.

Visit our website at to view open positions and submit an application.

Thank you for your help!
