New Upper School Math Teacher!

We are so excited and proud to announce that we have hired Emily Chandler to be our part-time Upper School math teacher for the new school year! Here's a bit about here! Welcome to the team, Emily!

I arrive this upcoming year at Civano Community School with 5 years of teaching experience. In Texas, I taught middle grades science and social studies, as well as math enrichment and tutoring. Lately, the focus of my time and effort was directed at raising my three young children during our transition to Arizona. I am grateful for an opportunity to teach in Civano’s intentional learning environment. I have a Bachelor's of Science (Zoology) from Texas A&M University, teaching certification from LeTourneau University, and a Master’s of Theology (Women’s and Judaic Studies) from Texas Christian University. I am married to a local minister/military chaplain and we earnestly attempt to rear our three children. In my free time, I love to explore our beautiful desert with my family as well as volunteer through local organizations.

Volunteer Dessert Rescheduled Monday, May 14th! See you there!
