Science 8 Newsletter
First Edition- Welcome to Mr. Gargano's classoom.
I am your child's science teacher this year and I am looking forward to a productive year filled with hands on labs and activities as we cover the 8th grade curriculum. I run something called the flipped classroom which allows students to work better at their own pace in class and at home. Basically students will complete class notes for homework instead of in class through a Vodcast(video broadcast). This allows time in class to work on assignments, go over the notes, and complete hands on labs! Check out some of the info below for great links to stay connected and upcomming dates. I try to put out a bi-weekly newsletter so you can see what we are doing in class and how you can best help your children. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me anytime. I'm looking forward to a great year.
