BROADCAST JOURNALISM CLUB

Big picture

Behind the scenes...

The first ever Broadcast Journalism Club at Howard High School is now producing videotaped daily announcements. In the past, announcements were broadcast over the Public Address system each morning. Now, every day's videotaped announcements are shown during 5th period, AND can be viewed from the HHS website: https://howardhs.bcsdk12.net/

Look for the links under the menu Our School, then Daily Announcements.

Most of these students have branched out beyond their comfort zones and have learned new skills. Some students never wanted to be in front of a camera, but are now anchoring at least once a week; some never knew anything about editing the video clip, but are now wrapping us up in record time.
