Isak Dinesen, Out of Africa
Isak Dinesen was a Danish writer. Known for her memoir, Out of Africa. The memoir is an autobiographical account of the author's life in Kenya from 1914-1931. She owned a coffee plantation in Eastern Africa and after her years in Africa, she returned to Denmark where she recorded her years in Africa in her memoirs. She was also married to Baron Bror Blixen-Finecke in 1914 and divorced in 1921.
