Welcome Back, Longhorns!
Lone Star Families,
Please read all the way through to the end of this newsletter. It contains an exciting piece of information just for you!
We can't wait to see your smiling faces at Meet the Teacher this week! Remember that if you will be walking your child to class on the first day, you will want to drop your license off so we can run your V-soft sticker while you walk around. Pick up your tag on the way out, and you will be able to skip the long line on Day 1!
Walking your children back:
Any/Every Day - All parents may walk to the Hug&Kiss zone in the foyer, and children will continue past the hallway doors on their own (We always have staff in the hallways to help!)
Day 1 (August 21) - All grades; parents must have visitor sticker
Days 1-3 (August 21, 22, 23) PK and Kdg; parents must check in at front desk and get visitor sticker
Days 1-5 (August 21, 22, 23, 24, 27) PK; parents must check in at front desk and get visitor sticker
Thank you! This helps us ensure that staff attention is focused on children and safe protocols are in practice.

Meet Your KindergartenTeacher: Ms. Burzynski, room 112
Hi! My name is Ms, Burzynski, but my students call me Ms. B. I live in the country in Dobbin, Tx. I was an SHSU Bearkat. I have taught Kindergarten in Montgomery for 38 years. My son, Braden Jay, graduated from Texas A&M. He is an accountant and lives in Houston. I adopted a tabby cat that I named Miss Kitty. She now has three precious kittens. I love to be outdoors...gardening, fishing, mowing on my John Deere tractor. I really love teaching Kindergarten, too! I am eager to meet my new students and begin our new year. We are going to have a lot of fun and learn a lot, too!

Parents, please feel free to email a picture of your child and a few sentences about them to your child's teacher in response.
