Facts about video games
97% of 12-17 year olds in the US played video games in 2008, also fueling an $11.7 billion domestic video game industry. In 2008, 10 of the top 20 best-selling video games in the US contained violence. Did you know that violent video games have been blamed for school shootings, increases in bullying, and violence towards women.
Reasons that violent video games are bad
Some video games teach kids the wrong things. Bad behavior, aggression are rewarded. Negotiating and other nonviolent solutions are often not options. On the other hand, a University of Buffalo study suggests that violence and bad behavior played in the virtual world may be contributing to better behavior in the real world. Gamers who play violent games may feel guilty about their behavior in the virtual world and this may make them be more sensitive to the moral issues they violated during game play.
What I think
Over all I think that video games make you more aggressive and can REALLY change you so don't play too much and don't get addicted
