Mrs. Hladun's Tidings

I think you'll agree that we have an incredible group of adults on our campus - from our teachers to our office team, our lunch ladies to our classified staff who support our students...everyone at LCES brings something special to the table to support our students. This week is all about celebrating our staff! Hats off to our parents/grandparents and PTC for putting together a fun Seussical themed week. You can get all the details about the week here!

This time of year is difficult for students and staff with allergies, and our team is very sensitive to that. However, please DO NOT send your child to school with prescription or OTC allergy remedies. This week, we found several allergy pills that had been packed in school lunches and then the child left them behind on lunch tables, meaning any other student could have taken them and perhaps ingested them. This creates a risk for other students that is not acceptable. If your child may need allergy medication during the day, please call our school health clerk, Katy, to discuss the options we can provide you/your child with. Katy can be reached at or on our campus after 12:15 pm at 916 434 5292. Please partner with us in order to keep all of our students healthy and safe.

Our Open House is scheduled for Thursday, May 23rd in the evening. Stay tuned for details on the timing of performances, and when classrooms will be open to visit!
