For all interested incoming students, the Open Enrollment deadline Is February 28th. Please CLICK HERE to be Directed to the NLMUSD website to be provided with information on how to register your student to attend Los Alisos for the 22-23 school year. We can't wait to have your student become a Los Alisos Lobo.

Welcome Gear Up

Los Alisos Middle School and Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District are proud to welcome Long Beach Gear Up to our campus. Long Beach Gear Up works to increase high school graduation and college enrollment rates for the classes of 2028 and 2029 in the Norwalk La Mirada community. The Gear Up team collaborates with students, families, and school staff to provide holistic educational services that promote academic excellence, career fulfillment and personal growth.

Gear up will be hosting several parent informational events in the month of February - There is a welcome letter in English and Spanish introducing Ariella Jimenez, the Program Coordinator in charge of Family/Parent , Ed Partnerships as well as a flyer for current workshops in English and Spanish Find out more by going to www.csulb.edu/gearup

Lobo Spirit Wear is Here!

ASB is selling Lobo Spirit wear! These t-shirts can be worn every Friday in place of the school uniform polo shirt. Shirts at $10.00 and will be sold after school every Thursday and before school on Fridays in the Quad

8th Grade Promotion Requirements

The End go the year is fast approaching and that means it will soon be time to celebrate our 8th grade students. Health and safety protocols permitting, Los Alisos Middle School plans to hold a Promotion Ceremony and 8th Grade activities. Administration and Teachers have spoken with 8th Grade students about the following requirements:

  • Students cannot earn an F letter grade in both semesters in more than one class
  • Students must have no more than one out-of-school suspension during second semester
  • Students must have no more than five tardies per period during second semester
  • Students must have no more than three unexcused absences which include partial day unexcused absences during second semester
  • The process for appeal will remain the same
