What Does It Do?
Interchangeable parts are parts that are, for practical purposes, identical. They are made to specifications that ensure that they are so nearly identical that they will fit into any assembly of the same type. For the prices today, they are very cheap espicaly for milltary reasions.
Who invented it?
The inventor is a man you may know, Eli Whitny. He is also the creator of the cotton gin that most people use today in the south. His enterchangeable parts also work for the cotton gin if it happens to break down.
