GRAPHIC DESIGN and VINYL LETTERING
Summer Camp @ Banks Middle School
Students will be introduced to a variety of skills to design and develop several types of products.
Campers will learn software programs to help generate their ideas and make them a reality. Vinyl Cutters, Heat Presses and Metal Engravers will be used to make a variety of products. Campers will be making their own t-shirts, dog tags, acrylic signs and a variety of other products. Students will practice using the design process and will go through the stages to make a product from idea, to mock-up, to finished product. This camp will give campers the skills to turn their ideas into a reality and will offer students the opportunity to work in both a research and development lab, as well as, a manufacturing lab. Students will have lots of opportunities to make their own designs and will have lots to take home with them as they work through the week. **Students taking both the AM and PM classes will have a 30 minute supervised lunch.
