BURDELL-HUNT PARENT NEWSLETTER
October 2021
Heads up parents; we need your signature.
Your child is bringing home a copy of the 2021-2022 Title I Parent and Family Engagement Guidebook. Signature forms are attached. To acknowledge that you have received and read these important documents, please sign and date both the "Receipt of 2021-2022 Title I Parent and Family Engagement Guidebook" letter, and the "School-Parent Compact Signature Letter" (one-page printed front and back). Your child will earn a BLOW-POP treat by returning these signed and dated forms to his or her homeroom teacher.
Introducing Dee Firebaugh
Hello, parents!
Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to introduce myself as your new Family Engagement Facilitator. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in the BCSD Instructional Technology Department. After retiring last spring, I felt very fortunate to receive Mrs. Allen's invitation to return part-time to serve Burdell-Hunt parents and their families. I look forward to communicating with you throughout the 2021-2022 school year by providing helpful resources and important information for Burdell-Hunt parents and families. Let's work together at finding ways to encourage your child to reach his or her highest academic potential.
My hours at Burdell-Hunt Elementary are 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. each Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Please feel free to reach out to me through Remind, by email (dee.firebaugh@bcsdk12.net), or by phone (478-779-2931).
Serving you is my pleasure,
Dee Firebaugh
