Message from Dr. Kaminski
Thanks to all of you for helping the BSE students and staff have a wonderful first three days of school! Special thanks to all of you who are supporting the PTO Fun Run. The money generated goes directly back to your students, who will be thrilled with the experiences they are offered at BSE. Thank you to Ally Kistler, Karin Cook, and all of the PTO helpers who have been here all week assisting with arrival, dismissal, and lunches. We couldn't have done it without you!
Many parents and students have asked about iPads this week. We have delivered all rentals to our student classrooms and are working on identifying those students who have purchased their own. Many students have not rented or purchased, so we are working on communication to fill in the gaps. We will begin to utilize the iPad as a wonderful instructional tool as soon as we are able to do so! Need an iPad? Click the link below.
Have a wonderful weekend, help your students enjoy the outdoors, and remind them how amazing they did during the first days of school. We are thrilled to have your kiddos and will take great care of them all year long.
Thank you,
dk

If you haven’t had a chance to log into funrun.com and register your kiddo for the BSE Bears Fun Run you can do it this weekend by searching for our school or using our school’s registration code: 696-988. Funds raised will support our PTO Programs like extra-curricular clubs (we’re excited to be adding a Robotics Team this year), Professional Development, Staff Appreciation and if we exceed our goal, a Gaga Ball Pit for the playground!!
The Fun Run will take place on Friday, August 19th (2nd and 3rd grade will be from 9:15-10:15 AM; 4th grade will be from 10:30-11:30 AM; Kindergarten and 1st grade will be from 12:15-1:15 PM).
