Ms. Melissa and Ms. BeBe's Class
Last Week: Grocery Shopping
Monday: We made an emergent reader book about what we see at a grocery store
Tuesday: We learned about produce and cut out our favorite fruits and vegetables. We also had enrichment, which centered around ball skills.
Wednesday: We had a fun time watching the first graders put on chapel about Jesus feeding the 5000 using skits and relay races. We also learned about healthy vs. unhealthy foods and sorted them on plates.
Thursday: We talked about the different shapes that we would see at a grocery store and cut them from magazines. We also got creative and turned our rectangles into shopping carts.
Friday: We learned about how to buy groceries. We cut out some money and played groceries. We also had first graders come and read to us.
*Next week we will be having a pizza party. We are asking that each family pay $3 to cover the cost of the pizzas.
*We are still in need of a few volunteers to help out with our Around The World Christmas Program. If you are able, we would love to have your help!!
*If you haven't done so already, please bring a spiral notebook to school. You may decorate the cover any way you would like.
Thank You! If you ever have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to ask myself or Ms. BeBe
