Get Moving!
Hello Leopards,
I hope you are continuing to give your best efforts during such trying times. We will catch up next week with Coach's demonstrations and added challenges using the May Fitness Calendar!!
With #Dedication #Motivation #Perseverance #communityinvolvement , we can combine our superpowers and defeat any villain that comes our way☺️.
Just a few tips/suggestions
Can be done in your backyard, living room area, or any family designated areas.
Don’t have a fitness mat- use a towel
Don’t have weights- get a gallon or jug and fill with water
Don’t have tires- assembly your two towels in two circles on the floor.
Make sure to lift feet as so towels don’t move
Remember to consume room temperature water if needed. This allows the negative toxins to continue and flow out instead of going into shock with cold water.
Most of all, HAVE FUN, and remember to continue WASHING HANDS and practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING!
HITT Family Workout
•Follow along with Coach Fleming!
•Can be done with entire family.
•No weights necessary-but feel free to have them.
•Quality over Quantity
•Can be done 2-3 times a day-3 days a week
•HAVE FUN!!!
Spanish Lab Fun
¡Hola amigos!
For Spanish class, we are learning about different areas of our “house”. If you can please guide your student to repeat after me, thank you! 😊

¡Gracias!

Andre' Art in Action
Dear Andre’ Parents and Leopards,
I hope you have been enjoying art time with your kids! This week
we are continuing to explore the Cy-Fair ISD Elementary Art Curriculum for the 4th-Quarter focusing on Creative Communication and Expression!
This week try: SCULPTURE
**Try to sculpt using clay or playdough! Roll, flatten, build!
(build an animal, person, or object…or a family member)
**Try using an old placemat for a clay surface.
(not making a huge mess in your home might encourage creativity)
**Make homemade dough out of flour and water.
(build a sculpture, then bake it…paint it when done if you like)
**Find objects around your home to build a sculpture.
(an adult can help you hot glue or use rope to build)
**Glue food products, such as cereal, to create a sculpture.
(don’t eat afterwards)
**Use leaves, flowers, or wood to create natural art sculptures.
(you can flatten a flower under a heavy object, then let dry)
**EASY papier mache’ sculpture:
1. Tape PAPER products together to form a person, animal, or thing.
(paper products are paper plates, toilet paper rolls, cardboard)
2. Mix 50% water and 50% Elmer’s glue in a big bowl.
3. Place paper sculpture on disposable surface (plastic wrap, paper)
4. Tear strips of thin paper and dunk in glue mix one at a time.
5. Lay wet paper on sculpture and rub to smooth down.
6. Let dry for 24-hours and paint to finish!
Art Extension:
To extend your art projects and challenge our older leopards, try to use
one or more of these Elements of Art listed below in your projects:
*Color: Primary (red, yellow, blue), Secondary (violet, green, orange)
Hot (yellow, orange, red) or Cold (blue, green violet)
*Shape: 2D (ex: square, circle, rectangle, triangle)
*Form: 3D (ex: cube, cylinder, cone, pyramid)
*Texture: feeling (ex: smooth, # lines for rough, dots for a sandy look)
Stay healthy and safe Andre’ Leopards!
Love,
Ms. Selmser
