Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back, I hope you were able to have a break over half term.
What a change we have seen already as the clocks go back and the weather starts to turn colder but despite this the children have come back to school raring to go!
Our Covid levels are now very low so hopefully they will continue to stay that way. Please continue to use lateral flow tests regularly and keep your child off school should they develop any symptoms such as a persistent cough. We continue to keep the school well ventilated and hand washing routines remain in place.
Thank you for all the poppy pictures and models that you have supported the children with. The display in the entrance hall is stunning with every poppy different and unique.
Finally just a couple of messages this week:
- Please be considerate when parking especially in the mornings and along Laurels Farm Drive.
- Please ensure your child brings a coat to school every day. We still go out to play when it is raining!
- Parents evening is next week for most classes except some EYFS pupils so please check you have booked an appointment.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams
Head Teacher
