College Scholarships:
- Make sure when you are applying to colleges, you also apply for their scholarships.
- Some colleges have a separate scholarship application, while others include the scholarship application as part of the college application.
GENERAL SCHOLARSHIPS for ALL Grade Levels!!!:
General scholarships are open to any student in the U.S. You can find these scholarships on the scholarship list above.
- Find scholarships, other financial aid & internships from more than 2,200 programs throughout the U.S.
- Enter as much information as possible to find the most matches.
- Scholarship info is based on the College Board's Annual Survey of Financial Aid Programs.
Local Scholarships:
- Local scholarships typically open in January of a student's senior year.
9th-11th Grade Info
I don't know which college I want to attend.
- Check out the Big Future website created by College Board.
- Big Future allows you to compare colleges side by side.
- You can also search for colleges based on major, location, cost etc.
- It is recommended to create a list of 5-10 schools where you would like to apply.
- College Navigator is another fantastic website to research colleges and majors.
I don't know what I want to major in or what I want to do for a career.
- Check out the Keller ISD CCMR website to take career interest inventories.
- This can help you see which career path is the best fit for you.
- College Board also has Career Finder, which is another great resource.
- If you are interested in attending a Technical/Trade School this website is a great resource. You can also see certification programs through Tarrant County College here.
