Dear Pullen families,
What an exciting week it has been! We had challenges during dismissal on day one, quickly made adjustments day two, and it continues to get better! It's been great seeing our students' smiling faces here on campus. Thank you for your continued flexibility and support. We appreciate you.

School Events & Updates
Arrival
- Front & cafeteria doors are open from 7:15-8:00
- 7:30 students are allowed to go to classrooms
- 8:00 instructional day begins
- Late arrivals- students arriving after 8 enter through front doors, check in (office) then go to classroom
Dismissal Locations (begins at 3 p.m.)
- Front drive- Grades 1,2,3 dismiss here
- Cafeteria drive- Grades K,4,5,6 dismiss here
- New afternoon dismissal cafeteria drive procedures & map below(attachment)
Siblings dismiss from the youngest sibling location
- Bus/daycare (cafeteria)
NEW Breakfast & Lunch
- ALL students are receiving FREE breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria this entire school year!
- No action on your part is needed
- Students are provided ID's by teacher

They are used to identify students dismissal method and hold labels for students to use in breakfast line.
PTA Corner
Check out the PTA parent portal website. Visit and sign up today! Go to the upper right corner and select "log in." It will then take you to a screen that says "Returning User or New User." Make sure you select “quantity” as well.
Community Outreach
Pullen will be participating in Pack The Pantry. We invite our families to participate by sending items to school. Our collection location will be the front foyer from now until Friday September 13th.
Most needed items:
peanut butter, jelly, bag of rice, bag of beans, detergent, shampoo, canned pasta, canned chili, flour, sugar, cooking oil

6th grade art
The RISD 6th grade Art Program carries a yearly fee to support the more in depth learning of the 6th grade art course. The fee this year is $25. Pullen will let you know HOW to make this payment in the future; it will be paid online.
