Industry begins to decline and forces employers to fire workers. Workers wages begin to fall.


Banks begin to close and people lost their money.

President Herbert Hover

President Hover believed the government shouldn't support the people and that the Depression wasn't as bad as it actually was. He finally gave government loans to banks . This way the banks may give loans to businesses so they may rehire employees.
