Let's Get to Know...
Cheryl Ellstrom, from our Science department. Cheryl teaches Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology and has been in education for 25 years, 20 years at West. Cheryl grew up in Watertown, MN, attended Mankato State University for both of her undergraduate degrees (education and athletic training) and her Masters in Biology. Cheryl is married and has two daughters- Allison and Erica. In her free time, Cheryl likes to read, explore state parks, and be with family.

PLC this Week
On Tuesday March 10th, we will be having our March PLC at East High School. In your groups please complete this form. This form will ask you to upload your action plan and course UBD, in the event that your PLC has multiple courses please submit the form for each course to ensure that the UBD is shared. Note: Not every person needs to fill out form, only one form per PLC.

As always if you are in need of assistance Toni Hames, Heather Gilman and Michael Johnson will be available throughout the morning.

Spring Learning Academy
The Spring 2020 Learning Academy is fast approaching and we need you, yes YOU to share your expertise, insight, and excellent work. We understand that this is a commitment outside of the regular workday but please know how much your commitment to continuous improvement benefits our staff and our students. The purpose of Learning Academy is to offer sessions for license renewal as well as allowing all staff to grow in their profession in areas of choice.
Please consider presenting at the Spring 2020 Learning Academy either face to face or online. The event will run as such:
Session 1 : 4:00pm-5:00pm
Session 2 : 5:15pm-6:15pm
Session 3 : 6:30pm-7:30pm
You can sign up to present for one session or multiple sessions. You can also sign up to present one session multiple times. Please consider sharing your work with all employees.
