Homecoming Week Celebrations!
What a great week!! Last week was Homecoming Week at RCS and the community showed its best school spirit!! The week consisted of a Spirit Week & Pep Rally at the High School, as well as multiple fall athletic team events and a district-wide spirit day!
On Friday night, our Varsity Football team won 48-0 over Gloversville at their Homecoming Game, and all RCS Fall Athletic Teams were recognized during a special halftime show presentation. On Saturday, the High School hosted its homecoming dance.
Big thank you to everyone who came out to support our students and all the individuals who went above and beyond in planning these events to make them so memorable!!

Fire Safety Month!
October is Fire Prevention Month -- an important month used to remind the community of fire safety measures and prevention strategies.
This week, the Selkirk Fire Department and Onesquethaw Fire Department visited some of our younger students at AWB to tour the trucks and talk about important fire safety reminders.
Additionally, the Ravena Fire Department & Selkirk Fire Department have been at the MS/HS campus all week working with students in the Albany County Sheriff training trailer. They showed the kids how it is to walk through a smoke-filled room with a fire hose, learned what a thermal imaging camera is, and talked about fire prevention!
Thank you for stopping by and working with our students!!
