Diabetes
What is Diabetes?
Type 1 Diabetes
In type one, the pancreas stops producing insulin. Since the cells aren't getting insulin, they don't have any energy. Since the insulin has nowhere to go, it becomes hyperglycemia. hyperglycemia is when you have high blood pressure. This can be very harmful to the blood vessels because they can not handle so much glucose. These people are dependent on insulin shots.
Type 2 Diabetes
Type 2 diabetes is far more common than type 1. When people have type 2 diabetes the receptors aren't working. Their body is producing enough or even more glucose but the cells aren't recognizing it. People with type 2 diabetes are not dependent on taking insulin shots. If you loose weight this will help with type 2 diabetes. This causes hypoglycemia.
