8th Grade Update
January 19, 2018
Dear 8th Grade Students and Families,
- How am I feeling in this moment?
- What am I proud of?
- What can I take to the next level in quarter 3?
- Have I shown myself enough ❤️?
- Have I shown others enough ❤️?
As exciting as quarter 3 can be, it’s also a time when our 8th grade nerves might act up a bit. Make space for all of the feelings and thoughts that bubble up for you. I promise you that at least one other person in the room is feeling the same! Be patient with yourself and work hard enough to make yourself proud. This is your time to shine!
Reminder: please be sure to return your MOOC permission slip to Ms. K or Mr. Landrigan no later than Monday. The National Gallery of Art’s film crew comes on Tuesday and we want all of your brilliant minds represented! :)
A big shout out to the 8th graders who braved the cold and woke up extra early to join us at this year’s March For Life! This year’s theme was “love saves lives” and I invite all of us to reflect on what that means to each of us.
Enjoy your weekend and see you on Monday!
Love,
Ms. K
