Proud Principal
Sheri, Yolanda, and I are so proud of the work you have done with analyzing your District Assessment Data. We have a lot to celebrate...we are meeting our distinguished LSPI goal in many content areas.
As we (Sheri, Yolanda and I) sit here working on the 45 Day LSPI Review presentation, we realize how much we have to be thankful for and celebrate. The WORK you all are doing is working and it MATTERS!
It truly takes a family to help students grow and develop. WE are Parsons' FAMILY!
Your admin team would like to serenade you to let you know how important our Parsons' family is to us...but we realized we better stick to being educators-LOL!
Have a great weekend making memories!
Proud to be Your Principal!

Walkie Talkie Info
Teachers- please remember that if you have a walkie talkie in your classroom, it needs to be turned off and on charger except when you are using it on the playground for recess. The walkies are used by office and admin all day and we have to communicate some sensitive things sometimes such as medical concerns, parent phone calls, etc. We try to say as little as possible but sometimes it is essential that the clinic worker or the office know specifics due to 911 calls. This is not information that we want students or others in the building to hear. If you accidentally leave it on, the first time you hear it go off, please turn it off until it is outside time. Thank you for your assistance.
Creating Strong Passwords
Cybercriminals have perfected the art of guessing passwords. If your passwords are not strong enough, you leave systems and data vulnerable to attack. Compromised passwords are the leading cause of security breaches. We recommend that you and your staff use a passphrase when creating a password.
What is a Passphrase?
A passphrase is a sentence-like string of words that is longer than a traditional password, easy to remember, and difficult to guess. A passphrase could be several meaningful but seemingly unrelated words such as Tailgate Varsity United Bulldogs. This has meaning to you and is easy to remember, but it would take 3,244 centuries for a cybercriminal to guess, even with technology designed to guess passwords.
Consider These Best Practices When Creating a Strong Passphrase:
DO
-Pick a phrase or series of random words that are meaningful to you. Think of three things you like, for instance French fries football beach.
-Add uppercase and lowercase and a special character: French Fries Football Beach!
-Use different or abbreviated spellings of words: French Fries Futbol Beach!
DON’T
-Use a name or nickname of a pet or relative
-Use information easily obtained about you such as your address, telephone number, or hometown
-Use a commonly used password such as “P@ssw0rd,” “qwerty,” or “123456”
-Use a password of all numbers, or a password composed of just alphabet characters
