Updates
- Dr. Prusiecki will be coming to present a voluntary round two culture presentation on Wednesday, March 4th in the PD room. Please feel free to join us but this is voluntary.
- LaJeanna Lanier started this week as our newest IA member. Be sure to introduce yourself when you see her. Please make sure you have a plan for IAs during their time with you.
- Class Dojo: The Culture and Climate team met to develop an appropriate range for Class Dojo usage each week. The agreed upon range was 600 points and above. Additionally, the Culture and Climate team would like to implement a weekly Excellent Eagle award. Each week from Monday through Thursday students will continue to earn their Class Dojo points. On Thursday night, the Culture and Climate team will then look and see who was the top earner in each class. The names will be announced on the news Friday morning. Those students will be able to sit at a specially decorated table at lunch and will receive a special treat at lunch on Friday.
- LAST WEEK: Winter Conferences: The spreadsheet to track your final numbers is here. It has been updated to include written contacts. We need to make contact with all parents via email, phone, letter, or in-person by the end of February. If retention is on the table, this is the time for those conversations.
On Site PD
The district has scheduled free prof. dev. hours with CIESC for this school year.
The dates we have chosen are:
March 5 "Power of Questioning"
These will be held in our DTSE Community room. There will be a morning session from 8-11 and an afternoon session from 12-3 on both days. This will be a 1/2 day PD for anyone who wants to attend one session on either day. The staff attending the morning session will be different than those attending the afternoon.
This is "first come first serve" and we are limiting to 25 persons per session per topic. We would prefer for teachers who have not been out for PD yet this school year to attend first.
