South Perth Young Writers Award 2019
I entered the South Perth Young Writers Award 2019 with a piece called ‘A Story About Nothing’. My piece of writing was selected, and I was invited to the second round. The second round was a one-on-one session to edit my story and make it perfect with the author, Deb Fitzpatrick. A few weeks later, I was invited to the award ceremony. Unfortunately, I was on holiday on the day of the ceremony and listened to the ceremony through my grandparents’ phone from Sydney. I came second with a reward of a $50 Myers voucher.
