Principal's Message
Dear Blair Mill Families,
Last week we kicked off our new One School, One Book program. I hope that you have all enjoyed reading the first few chapters of the book together as a family. The goal of the program is to encourage families to read together and create an opportunity for a shared reading experience as a school community.
Many guests helped us kick off our book including community members from the Horsham Police and Fire Department, State Representative Todd Stephens, School Board Directors, and more will join us. On Friday, I had a chance to visit classrooms with the main character, Humphrey! The children loved meeting Humphrey (in his little ball).
Click the video below to see highlights from our kick-off.
This is an example of a program that is funded and supported by our Home and School Association. Please support their fundraising efforts, such as the Gertrude Hawk Fundraiser. Orders due March 14th!
Stay safe, happy and healthy!

Tree Planting Event
HH Students for Sustainable Future Club Event
Students for a Sustainable Future, the environmental club at Hatboro-Horsham High School, has organized a tree planting event that will happen throughout the community. This event is through the organization Tree-Plenish and is an attempt to promote sustainability and offset the paper usage that our school consumes.
Equally important, our Tree-Plenish initiative will help rejuvenate our tree loss incurred by Hurricane Ida this past August.
In the link below, you will be able to order tree saplings that will be planted in your yard. Then, on May 1st, volunteers will plant the tree saplings where you want them to be planted.
You also have the option of picking up the saplings on May 1st at the high school. The saplings are 5 dollars, and you have a choice of three different species of tree. Please consider supporting our cause and beautifying Hatboro-Horsham in the process!
