Important Notes about the Upcoming School Year

Vista Charter School School Year 21-22 Calendar

Vista has adopted a new calendar structure for next school year which has us starting our school year on August 4th. Making this change in our school start date will allow us more time throughout the school year for credit recovery between cycles. Additionally, our new calendar structure allows for four instructional days per week, leaving students Fridays for employment or work-based learning and hopefully making it easier for some students to balance work and school.

You can check out the calendar for next year at the following link. Vista Charter School SY 21-22 Calendar

Returning Student Registration is August 3rd.

We've been sending text and emails to all returning students with a link to sign up for your student registration meetings on August 3rd. Be sure to be on the lookout for this. If you didn't get this email, please call the school at 970-249-4470. Each student as a unique link for their crew leader.

During registration, you will meet your new crew leader, pick your new classes for Cycle 1 and and go over any additional questions you may have about the upcoming school year.

**Students will not be able to attend classes until they have completed a student registration meeting.

What to Expect the 1st Six Days of Cycle 1

The first six days of Cycle 1, August 4th through 12th, we will run a modified school schedule and students will need to attend their CAP class at the Vista building from either 8:30-10:30 or 1:30-3:30.

Only students who complete their required CAP activities during this time will be cleared to start classes on August 16th. Your crew leader will explain this more during your student registration meeting.
