STEM Camp Registration is Open
STEM Camp will be offered to all incoming K-5 students from 8 a.m.-noon, July 10-13, at Discovery Ridge Elementary. To access the enrollment form (e-Form), the residential parent must log in to the Tyler SIS Student 360 Portal. STEM Camp registration closes on May 5 or as soon as all classes are filled.

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) released its 2022 Annual Performance Report (APR) for all Missouri school districts, including the WSD, on Tuesday, March 7. Read more.
Timberland Takes Eight Medals in the Girls Swim and Dive State Meet

Enter to Win a Free Car | Contest Closes April 7
One lucky high school junior or senior will win a brand new 2023 Convertible Ford Mustang on April 29 of this year as part of Clement Ford's Drive for Excellence. To qualify, local students who achieve any number of A’s and B’s are eligible to enter. The student will receive 3 tickets to win for every A on their report card, and 1 ticket to win for every B. School attendance is encouraged. The student and guardian must bring the qualifying report card to any of the 6 Clement Auto Group locations. This contest closes at 5 p.m. April 7.
Clement Auto group will draw and announce the 20 finalists the week of April 17. Those qualifiers will be invited to a Red-Carpet ceremony and have the opportunity to select one of the keys that will open the door to the new Mustang. The Level Up Youth Conference on April 18 is back in person from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. RYEC will be at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park to present dynamic content to help 16-24-year-olds as they enter the world of work.
Timberland HS Theatre Presents "The Little Mermaid" by Doug Wright | April 13, 14, and 15
Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. mtishows.com.
Beautiful mermaid Ariel should be a happy girl; she lives in an enchanted undersea country, her father is a King, and she has the most beautiful singing voice. But she is a passionate, headstrong teenager, and wants what she cannot have — to live on land. When she falls in love with a handsome human prince, Ariel is more determined than ever to gain a pair of legs.
It will be performed in the Carle E. Reininger Theatre at 7 p.m. on April 13, 14, and 15. There will be a matinee at 2 p.m. on April 15. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students, and $4 for children ages 5 and under. Purchase tickets online.

For Read Across America Week, the WSD saw everything from superheroes to crazy socks! We enjoyed watching our teachers get in on the fun and encouraged our students to hit the books.
