Sunday Message
Week of 9/16/19
We had our Fun Run kick-off assembly on Friday! Hopefully your students came home with their pledge books and encouraged you to login to FunRun.com. This is by far our biggest fundraiser of the year. This year we are working toward our goal of having one Chromebook for every student on campus and also updating some of our security cameras.
Tiger Crew candidate speeches will take place on Monday and Wednesday this week beginning right after the morning bell rings on the outdoor stage of the Multipurpose Room. We have three VP candidates and six Treasurer candidates speaking on Monday, and five candidates for President and two for secretary speaking on Wednesday. Click here for link to candidate names, speaking order and days/times. Parents are welcome to come watch the speeches. Please just be sure to sign in at the office prior to heading to the outdoor stage. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks for all of your support!
Mr. Middleton

TBE 2019 FUN RUN!!
We had our Fun Run Pep Rally on Friday and all students should have received a Pledge Book to get them started on their pledging. It is super easy and fun for the kids to get started on FUNRUN.com and they can even make a personalized video to send to friends and family! Encourage your child to participate because they will receive prizes and multiple classroom and school wide incentives, and of course help contribute to our school! We opened up pledging early last Friday and we had a great start, as well as have received pledges from 7 different states. Let’s see how many more states we can get besides California!!
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our Fun Run Day, September 27th.
We know it’s early, but for all of you planners who have already been reaching out to us, Harvest Festival Vendors are being accepted NOW! This amazing family night will be on Friday, October 18th @ 5-8pm. If you are interested, please complete the attached form. We will have no duplicate companies, so first come first served!
Please contact Leah Bassett, our PTC President, at tbeptc@gmail.com with any questions.

A doctor’s note is asked for all medical appointments where the student misses school time or 3 or more consecutive illness days.
Proof of Residency
Proof of Residency Due By 9/30/19
Every year, we ask our families to submit Proof of Residency. This gives us the opportunity to ensure we have your current address and live within the Twelve Bridges Elementary School boundaries. If you ae residing outside of these boundaries, this gives us the opportunity to make sure we have the proper transfer paper work on file. Proper Proof of Residency is a current utility bill (dated August or September 2019). If you are residing with another family, you must provide a McKinney-Vento Homeless Declaration Form (this form is available in the office).
You may submit this by:
· Dropping a copy off in the office (please note the name of your child(ren) on the copy)
· Email copy to kreilly@wpusd.org (please note the name of your child(ren) in the message)
Thank you for your timely response.
Box Tops
Dear TBES students, families, and staff,
It is time to start collecting box tops for education. We are expecting great things with box tops this year!
A collection sheet with a letter was sent home on Friday. Please be sure to read the letter. Changes with how box tops will be collected have been implemented. We have already collected 75 box tops, $7.50 for this school year.
If you have any questions or concerns about collecting box tops for TBES please feel free to call, text or email me.
Thank you for your help and support in earning money for our school.
