EXPLORER MISSION TO SATURN
Cassini has revealed that the planet's poles possesses a monstrous vortex. Were
heat from the anterior creates giant thunderstorms.
Further observations are planned during the cassini equinox mission to see how these vortices evolve as the seasons change on saturn.
The rings on Saturn consist of billions of individual particles. Mostly water and ice which create waves, wakes and other structures.
There is still rings on saturn. That have not been discovered. And some that are not named that are made up of ice like particles.
And with all the rings on saturn. Scientist still don’t know how old some of the rings are.
There was a spacecraft that went to saturn and started sending back valuable information. But it slipped into saturn's orbit on july 2004.
There are dozens of moons that orbit saturn. And all of them are icy moons.
Astronomers found new little moons. That fell into saturn's orbit.
