Meet Some of the New Staff

My name is Sheldon Gentry and this is my beautiful wife Grace and my amazing daughter Kynlee. I grew up in Parma my whole life. I graduated as Parma's valedictorian in 2017 then went on to college to become a teacher! During my years at Lewis Clark State College I had great experiences. I made a ton of new friends, but most importantly I met my wife. College was a huge success for me. I had a ton of awesome and incredible professors that helped me succeed along the way. I wanted to become a teacher because of people like them. I hope one day my students are able to tell people that I helped them accomplish their goals!

Hello! My name is Sheri Falk and I am very excited to be joining Parma Middle School as the new English Language Arts teacher. I have taught both self-contained fifth grade and middle school over the years, so this position is the best of both worlds!

My wonderful husband and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary in May and we have two daughters. Our oldest daughter is also a teacher; she teaches 2nd grade. Our younger daughter will be starting her senior year at the College of Idaho where she is majoring in both Art and History. We have two horses and our dog, Louise. In my spare time, I love to relax with a good book or a classic movie, and always enjoy going to a good rodeo!

Heather Jacobson - Hi all! I’m excited to be teaming up with Mrs. Oberg and joining the Parma team! This will be my 11th year teaching. My husband and I have a 7 year old son, Sawyer, and a 4 year old daughter, Savannah. We love to camp, boat, snowmobile, and do whatever we can to get outside and explore. I’m originally from Alaska, but spent most of my childhood in Couer d’ Alene and Houston. I look forward to getting to know everyone!
Carly Flowers has taught social studies for 10 years in the Treasure Valley community, and has a deep passion for both the Revolutionary Period (George Washington is her favorite president) as well as the geopolitics that led to World War I. She is married to her middle school sweetheart, Tyrel Flowers, who was a Marine, and provided the opportunity to live in both Jacksonville, North Carolina and Seattle, Washington, which positively affected both her outlook on life, as well as education. During summer vacation, the Flowers' family enjoys camping, hiking, and backpacking. Just this summer they hiked/camped in the Redwoods, Duck Lake, Upper Payette Lake, Josephine Lake, and the Bench Lakes. Both Carly and Tyrel's parents attended Parma School District, Carly did her student teaching at Parma Middle School in 2010, and she is very excited to return to the school district that taught her how to be a teacher. Her two boys, Caden and Michael, are also very excited to become Panthers!
