Week Two of Online Learning
Students if you are using a NHCS device and are having technical difficulties, you can contact the Student Help Desk at 910-254-4440. Their office hours will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. If you need assistance in Spanish press 8 and you will be transferred to a voicemail box of someone who can help you.
Parents, we have had several questions about how students are being graded for online assignments. At this time, we are focusing our efforts on providing students with feedback about their learning. We are collecting assignments assigned to provide feedback and documenting these assignments as “Collected” or “Missing” in PowerSchool without numerical grades. This will provide parents with information about what students are completing or not completing with online learning. As soon as we receive more guidance from the state and our district we will communicate with you about plans for 4th quarter grading.
