Attendance Is Important This Week:
As always, it is very important for students to maintain consistent attendance, our goal is 9 or less days per year at the very most. Although this is the week before break, attendance is still very important as teachers will be maintaining high expectations with high support in all classrooms.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR TECH DRAGONS!!!:
Our Robotics Club Tech Dragons won the championship this weekend, they will advance to the state simi-finals in January, see pictures below!

Calvacade of Authors:
If your student loves to read, is passionate about writing, and would enjoy meeting real authors to learn tips, tricks and strategies, Cavalcade of Authors West conference is for them! Twenty-two incredible authors will be present at this year's conference on Saturday, May 9th. Students will participate in 3 author workshops of their choice, have lunch with other students from around the area, and have the opportunity to participate in Q & A panel. Sign up in the ASB Office and register for workshops in the library. It's just $20 to participate in this amazing event. Band Concert Fundraiser:
Our CMMS Band program will be selling Papa Murphy's Pizza cards during the concert on Wednesday, December 18th starting at 6:30. They are $5 each. Cash, credit and check accepted at the ASB window. The ASB office will also be open if you'd like to purchase any other CMMS swag for the holidays.
INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT TRANSFER REQUESTS FOR 2020-2021:
- First consideration deadline for accepting student transfer requests for the 2020-21 school year will be March 6, 2020 for all grades, K-12. Requests received after the deadline may not be considered until the week of August 24, 2020. Requests submitted after August 24, 2020 will be reviewed after September 18, 2020 when actual enrollment counts are in. A student transfer request form may be completed and submitted online from the district’s website beginning January 6, 2020.
- All transfer requests for 2020-2021 will be done electronically. If the request is submitted by March 6,2020 parents will be notified by April 15, 2020 if the request has been approved or denied. Approval or denial of transfer requests will be based on established criteria outlined in board policies and procedures 3131 and 3141. Parents will provide transportation for students who voluntarily attend a school outside their attendance area.

Students who are currently approved for in-district student transfers do not have to complete a new form unless they are changing from elementary to middle school or middle school to high school.
