  • 7th Grade - We will start our unit on Energy.
  • 8th Grade - Test on Monday. Study over the weekend.

  • 6th and 7th - Debate (argumentative) Unit

  • 8th - finish The Most Dangerous Game and wrap-up literary unit (8th grade will begin the Debate Unit the following week).

The debate unit will be a solo project, but there will be multiple opportunities for students to collaborate and interact with their classmates. It is expected that students engage in collaborative assignments and discussions as part of the unit grade.

The unit is chunked into components, each with its own point value, lessons, rubric, and due date. All information will be posted in Google Classroom.

*Please note that other, smaller, assignments will be given throughout the unit as well.

Please encourage your student to take advantage of “pre-takes” as re-takes will not be offered this quarter.
