Back To School Information!

Car Rider Information

  • Front Doors open at 7:00 am. Please do not drop off students until staff are visible to supervise!
  • Students can go to the cafeteria until 7:30 for breakfast. The cafeteria closes for breakfast at 7:30.
  • ALL students must be dropped off through the car rider lane at the front doors. Students should not be dropped off in the parking lot to walk across the car lane. This is dangerous for our students and staff and will not be allowed. Parents may walk students across on occasion if needed for special events or to help with materials.
  • The car rider in the mornings is SINGLE lane drop off. Do not pass on the outside lane.


  • Afternoon car rider line is DOUBLE lanes!! Please wait until 2:00 to pull forward and/or form double lanes.
  • Students are lined up inside and dismissed as one group to load cars. Cars should not move until staff motions for movement!
  • ALL cars should have a car rider tag with student name displayed in order to call names for dismissal. These will be provided the first day of school!
  • Once your child is in your car, please turn on your flashers to indicate to staff that you have your child.
  • For the safety of our students and staff, students will not be dismissed to the parking lot. ALL students must be dismissed through the car rider line!
  • If your child does not hear his/her name, please pull forward and park in the lot. A staff member will walk your child to you.

Bus Rider Information

  • ALL students riding buses should have a bus tag on their backpack with the child's name and address. Teachers will place these on backpacks on the first day of school. Please do not remove them.

  • Please encourage your children to be on their BEST behavior for bus rides in order to ensure a safe ride for ALL students!

Breakfast and Lunch

  • Breakfast and Lunch are provided for free to ALL students this year!
  • Extra snacks can be purchased by students. If you choose to put money in your child's account, please send money to school in an envelope and label it with your child's name!
  • We encourage all families who may be eligible to apply for Free/Reduced Lunch through this link: https://frapps.horizonsolana.com/welcome. If you qualify, these benefits can also impact student fees such as field trips fees.

School Hours are 7:40-2:40
