Meet Your Counselors

Jennifer Cardenas - Counselor for Kindergarten and 1st
This is my 7th year with Conroe ISD. Before I became a Counselor I was a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher. Growing these kiddos socially, emotionally, and academically is my passion. I received my undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University (Go Kats!) and my Masters in School Counseling from Lamar University. I am excited to start the year alongside Mrs. Angie MgGhee. It will be a GREAT year!
Angie McGhee - Counselor Grades 2 - 4
I knew I wanted to be a school counselor when I was in seventh grade and after 18 years in education, I can still say I love my role as a school counselor working with the students, staff and families at Bush Elementary. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) and my Masters in School Counseling from Georgia State University. I look forward to working with Mrs. Cardenas this year in supporting our Bush students and families.

We are excited to announce the start of the Compassion Club at Bush Elementary for the 22-23 school year. The Compassion Club supports the development of compassionate character traits and community service. To learn more about the Compassion Club curriculum, please visit this link.
The Bush Elementary Compassion Club will meet once a month on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:15. Co-sponsors for the club will be Tessa Stuckey, LPC and Bush parent and Angie McGhee, Bush counselor. We look forward to welcoming students in second through fourth grades. If you would like your student to participate in the Compassion Club, please complete this permission form.
