A Note From Mrs. Doyle
Dear Families,
Thank you for your generous contributions to PTO that allowed our staff to enjoy a pizza dinner last weekend. Every act of kindness and appreciation like this means so much. Thank you!!
Parent Conferences
Next week begins our first Parent Conferences. This will be an important opportunity for teachers to share how students have adjusted to school and how they are doing academically and socially so far. It is also important to us to hear from you about how your child is doing during remote learning. As you know, our partnership is essential for your child’s success in school this year. We are deeply grateful for your support and cooperation.
Food Pantry
We are grateful to our community volunteers who are helping us maintain our commitment to the Sudbury Food Pantry. We will be collecting non-perishable food on Wednesday (Remote Only students), Thursday, and Friday next week (October 28-30). Students will put their donated food items on tables set up at all our entrances on these days as they arrive at school. Thank you for your participation.
The items most in need at the Food Pantry right now are:
- Full-size snacks (crackers, cookies, chips)
- Boxes of cereal
- Pasta
- Hamburger Helper
- Taco kits/shells
- Tomato products (sauce, diced, paste)
- Cans of soup
- Canned green beans
- Canned beans
- Mac & Cheese
- Boxes of rice
- Baking products
We collect non-perishables only. Thank you for supporting the Sudbury Food Pantry.
PTO Meeting / Principal Chat
Our first PTO meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 27, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Kristin Moffat, Assistant Principal, and I will be there and we will share a school update and answer questions. There will also be a full PTO agenda. The PTO has always been a tremendous support to our entire school and we deeply appreciate our continued partnership. Please join us with this link and please use your full name before being admitted.
Have a safe and fun-filled weekend.
Best,
Annette Doyle

Guidance for COVID-19 Testing
COVID-19 Travel Order
Sudbury Public Schools is strictly adhering to the COVID-19 Travel Order. We would like to remind parents that the travel order pertains to anyone entering Massachusetts from out-of-State and includes MA residents returning from second homes or weekend trips to any state not considered to be lower-risk.
Massachusetts residents are urged to limit any out-of-State travel only to States designated as COVID-19 lower-risk States.
The current list of COVID-19 lower-risk States includes:
California
Connecticut
District of Columbia
Hawaii
Maine
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New York
Vermont
Washington
*Rhode Island is currently considered a higher-risk State
If you travel for any reason you must follow the mandated guidelines below unless you meet the exemptions for travel listed below.
Exemptions to travel order:
Transitory travel through a State
Travel for work, school, or medical treatment
Military travel requirement
*Any overnight stay in a State considered higher-risk requires a COVID test and quarantine until test results are known.
Children age 10 and younger are not required to be tested but must follow the quarantine requirement of their parent(s)/guardian(s) until test results are known, or if no testing is done, the end of the 14 day quarantine period.
A negative result from an antigen test must be confirmed by a negative result from an FDA EUA-approved molecular (PCR) SARS-CoV2 test, on a sample obtained 72 hours or less prior to arrival in Massachusetts. Serology tests will not be accepted.
Please inform your school nurse of travel plans to a higher-risk State and provide a copy of the COVID-19 test result before your child(ren) returns to school.
Complete the Massachusetts Travel Form before returning to MA from a higher-risk State. For more info: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-order
