Class Wish List

Here are some things that would help our class in the spring:

-electric pencil sharpener (not battery that plugs into the wall)

-colored file folders

-eraser caps for pencils

A huge thanks.... every parent and grandparent that attended our class party in December! A special shout-out to the moms who planned and prepared the party: Mrs. Pate, Mrs. Morrison, Mrs. Perez, Mrs. Nash, Ms. Roberson, and Mrs. Escobar!

Our Valentine's party this year will be on Thursday, February 14th, at 1:30 pm! :)

Slight Schedule Change

The week leading up to the winter break, 3rd grade tried a slight change in our schedule, and we've decided we're going to keep the change! Instead of recess being from 2:00-2:30 each day, we are going to move recess to immediately after lunch, from 12:15-12:45. This will back up our afternoon schedule by 30 minutes.

Below is a basic outline of each day:

7:45-8:30: Specials

8:40-9:30: Writing

9:30-11:00: Reading

11:00-11:45: Math lesson

11:45-12:15: Lunch

12:15-12:45: Recess

12:45-12:55: Drinks, independent reading while we settle down....

12:55-1:25: Math stations

1:25-2:00: Science

2:00-2:30: Social Studies

2:30-2:45: Pack up, end of day jobs

2:45: Dismissal
