A WV Vaping Conversation-November 15th, 6:30 PM at Spring Mills Middle School
1 in 4 high school students report using an e-cigarette in the past month. Many kids and their parents falsely believe these devices are safe.
Join the American Heart Association, Spring Mills Middle School and UniCare Health Plan for a community conversation about this epidemic.
November 15, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
Spring Mills Middle School
255 Campus Drive, Martinsburg, WV 25404
We'll talk about the dangers of e-cigarettes, how they are marketed to kids, how they can be easily hidden from adults and what we can do about it. Everyone is welcome.
Meeting includes product education, panel discussion and opportunity for Q&A.
Parent Rap: Next Session, Tuesday, November 15th at 6:30 PM
In an effort to provide support to families, the Parent Engagement Resource Center (PERC) hosts a Parent Rap Sessions (virtually) on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, but dates can vary. These sessions allow for parents to ask questions, encourage honest discussions, and hear from experts concerning student behaviors.
For more information, download the Parent Rap flyer below, or contact the PERC Office at 304-263-5717.
