It's Gonna Be May!
THANK YOU TEACHERS! This week we celebrated our teaching staff in style. Monday teachers were treated to a pancake breakfast, Tuesday - coffee and personalized cookie treats, Wednesday - bagel breakfast, Thursday - roses with personalized bud vases, and Friday wrapped everything up with breakfast burritos from El Rey Moro, a restaurant owned by 2nd grader, Mia's, family.
Starting next week, all 3rd-5th graders will begin the annual CAASPP testing. Testing will be each morning throughout the week, so please ensure your student is receiving plenty of rest each night and eating a nutritious breakfast. Our TK-2nd graders will be given the Fountas & Pinnel reading assessment starting on May 16th. This information will show us how much our youngest readers have grown over the course of the year.
