Woodbury Junior-Senior High School - Weekly Newsletter

Message from the Principal
Hello parents,
This week was an absolute blast! There were so many fun events for our students to enjoy some holiday cheer before the break. Some of these included:
- HS Band and Choir Concert
- Numerous varsity athletic games, competitions and meets
- Junior High Herd Hotshots
- Band and Choir jam sessions for students
- HS Reindeer Games
Singing, playing, performing, competing, and laughing were a sizable part of our student's schedule this week. They participated with gusto and enjoyed seeing their teachers and administrators out there mixing it up. For the record - yes, the faculty team defeated the Seniors in Tug-of-War to defend our title!
Please take a look at numerous pictures below to get a sense of the fun everyone was having. Also, we've included two brand new videos from our VAD class that you are sure to enjoy.
Have a wonderful break with your families and we will see you back in 2019!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Road Runners Club of Woodbury Donates Coats
For the fourth consecutive year, the Road Runners Club of Woodbury (RRCW) graciously donated dozens of jackets to the Woodbury City Public Schools. A portion of the race entry fee from Hot Run in the Summertime (http://www.rrcwoodbury.com/rrcw-race-series/hot-run-in-the-summertime/ ) is set aside to provide local children new jackets just in time for the winter months. RRCW partners with Operation Warm to provide this wonderful donation. The Woodbury City Public Schools is appreciative for the efforts of the RRCW and looks forward to a continued partnership in future years.
