Note From Principal Graham
We only have a few more days of our Boosterthon fundraiser before the Fun Run event. We do have two weekend challenges happening:
- Any student who reaches $2/per lap donation will get a Dude Perfect frisbee
- If we get to $10,000 over the weekend, the top two raising students get to pie Ms. Swift and a special guest in the face.
Thank you for helping our school raise funds this year. We can’t do this without your help!
The Fun Run will be held on Tuesday. Families are welcome to join us. We will have three runs throughout the day.
9 AM Fun Run for PK/K/1 students
10 AM Fun Run for 2/3 students
11 AM Fun Run for 4/5 students
Oak Grove Elementary Families!
Our Oak Grove Elementary Fun Run has begun, and we’re on our way to reaching our goal of $12,000. Thank you so much to our families who have registered and shared their donation pages to get us to this point!
As we head into the weekend, we have a BONUS PRIZE OPPORTUNITY for all students. It’s for this weekend only, so time is limited to earn this extra reward. Students can earn the Dude Perfect Frisbee if they get to $2 per lap donations.

Thank you for supporting our school! We can’t wait for the Oak Grove Elementary Fun Run happening on 02/13/2024!
We had a great turnout for this week's PTO Game Night. It was great to see families playing board games and participating in the trivia game together and with other families. The smiles were everywhere with friendly competition.

Who Was Caught This Week?
Our school motto is Be Kind, Work Hard, Be Brave. As students are witnessed showing these qualities, teachers and staff put that student's name in for a weekly drawing. Those students whose names are drawn are announced on the Friday's OGE News Show and then meet with Principal Graham in the office where they are congratulated, have their picture taken for the school newsletter and given a prize. We are always so proud of every student for doing the right thing and showing that they are being kind, working hard and being brave.

We have another student who reached 500 steps in her RED reading log this week!
Congratulations to Brylie from Ms. Shelton’s, Ms. Swift’s, and Ms. Dangerfield’s kindergarten class. Brylie already has her name on the RED Reading Wall for getting to 50 steps. She has received five free books this school year - one for each time she completed another 100 steps. Her picture has been posted on a special spot outside the library for reaching 500 steps
