From Principal Tim Huber
Your Donations = HUGE Impact! ππ
Always appreciated, never expected; donations to our school this year have come in all forms, shapes, and sizes. Whether a few containers of clorox wipes to clean desks or a new vacuum for the classroom carpets, we love and appreciate each and every family for your contributions! The classroom and school experience for all students has been greatly enhanced through generous donations of supplies of all kinds. I am using this space this week for a GIANT THANK YOU to all those families who have sent in items with their children or fulfilled teacher wish list items already this year. We love the way that our family and yours have continuous opportunities to work together to support the education of children. If you have interest in contributing to your child's classroom or to our school, please reach out to your child's teacher.
Today and always, thank you for your continued support of your children and our school. Together, we will help our children SOAR to reach their greatest potential!

[URGENT AND UPDATED] Apply for Free and Reduced Price School Meals π΄ππ₯
[UPDATE] In 2022-23, breakfast and lunch will now be free to students who are eligible for reduced-price meals. We will credit the accounts of reduced-price eligible students who purchased meals since the start of the 2022-23 school year.
- K-5 Breakfast $1.50 and lunch $3.00
- 6-12 Breakfast $1.75 and lunch $3.25
Apply for free and reduced-price school meals
All students currently receive free school meals supported by federal funding due to the pandemic. This funding is set to end on June 30, 2022. In order to receive free or reduced-price meals for next school year, families need to submit a meal benefits application.
All families must complete an application for the 2022-2023 school year starting July 1 in order to receive benefits. Please allow 10 business days for processing.
For every student that turns in the free and reduced meals application and qualifies, the school also receives federal funds that benefit the students and teachers at the school.
We need you to complete a 2022-2023 meal benefits application so our school can be eligible for extra funding next year. If you have not completed a free or reduced-price meal application and think your child may be eligible, pick up an application at your childβs school or apply online.
Paper applications are available in the front office and can also be requested by calling 919-588-3535 or 919-856-2920 or emailing cnsmealbenefits@wcpss.net.
MySchoolBucks App π½
With a MySchool Bucks account paying for school meals is easy. Go to www.MySchoolBucks.com or call (855) 832-5226 to enroll. You'll need your child's Student ID number, available in your registration materials or at your school. Once your account is established you may:
- Securely deposit funds to your child's account
- Check balances
- Set spending limits
