SKILLSUSA INDIANA STATE LEADERSHIP AND SKILLS CONFERENCE APRIL 10-11, 2015
SkillsUSA Week February 8-14, 2015 Celebrating our 50 Years!!!
Make plans now for your chapter to celebrate SkillsUSA Week! SkillsUSA Week is February 8 – 14, 2015 and provides state associations, advisors and student members the opportunity to promote SkillsUSA programs and activities at the local and state levels.
During SkillsUSA week, members can also help raise awareness of SkillsUSA. This can be accomplished through field trips to local businesses, an open house for parents or industry partners, a visit to local community organizations to make a brief presentation about SkillsUSA, or providing news releases and public service announcements to local media outlets for possible distribution. Involvement in activities such as these brings positive recognition to SkillsUSA, and to local schools and their students.
Conducting chapter activities during SkillsUSA Week also helps to satisfy Chapter of Excellence Level 2 Indicators. For more information and ideas on celebrating SkillsUSA Week, check out: http://skillsusa.org/events-training/skillsusa-week/ideas-for-celebrating/
